
IOSH Managing Safely Course
This is a 3 day course, normally delivered one day a week over a three week period but can be delivered over three consecutive days in the same week if more convenient.
Managing Safely is made up of seven modules covering the following topics:
- 1. Why need to manage Safety
- 2. Assessing risks
- 3. Controlling risks
- 4. Understanding responsibilities
- 5. Understanding hazards
- 6. Investigating incidents
- 7. Measuring performance
The qualification is assessed by an end of course 45 minute assessment, made up of 30 multi-format questions as well as a work based risk assessment task to be completed by the delegate in their own time.
We deliver IOSH Managing Safely in the following locations -

Burnley, Lancashire classroom based venue
Face to face course with fully interactive communication with trainer and co-learners attending in person. Benefits from extra activites not feasible for online course.

Harrogate, North Yorkshire classroom based venue
Face to face course with fully interactive communication with trainer and co-learners attending in person. Benefits from extra activites not feasible for online course.

Online - virtual classroom course via Zoom
Same syllabus and content as the classroom course but means can access the training from any destination you wish as long as has the requisite computer access and quiet environment to fully concentrate on the information being accessed.
