Terms & Conditions

Payment terms

A booking is only completed when it has been received by Pennine Partnership and acceptance of it has been confirmed in writing either by letter or email. Thereafter the cancellation terms below apply to all bookings.

All monies shall be received by Pennine Partnership within 7 days of confirmation of booking, unless booked within 7 days prior to course commencement date. In that case payment must be made before the last working day before the course begins.

Any discounts or promotional prices are only valid if course fees are paid within Pennine Partnership payment terms.

Substitutions

There is no charge if a substitute wishes to be put forward for an original delegate who is unable to attend the contracted date. However any substitution changes to accredited course may need to be notified at least 7 days prior to the exam/assessment for the correct documentation to be assured.

Cancellations

Pennine Partnership reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a course when we deem it necessary to do so. All courses need to reach the required minimum number for a productive and effective learning experience as well as needing to be commercially viable.

Pennine Partnership will not be liable for any loss or expenses incurred by the client arising from such a cancellation.

Pennine Partnership also reserves the right to change the venue should circumstances arise which are beyond our control. In that eventuality Pennine Partnership will endeavour to provide the candidate with as much notice as possible and as the circumstances allow.

In the event of a course cancellation by Pennine Partnership bookings will normally be deferred to the next available course at the same venue unless the candidate request otherwise. In these circumstances we shall notify the candidate as soon as is reasonably practicable and within 7 days of receiving such notification the candidate has the right to cancel in writing and request a full refund.

All cancellation requests by the candidate must be in writing and the following charges will apply –

  • More than 2 weeks prior to course – no fee

  • 1 week to 2 weeks prior to course – 50% course fee

  • Less than 1 week prior to course – Full course cost

  • Non-attendance without notice being given – No refund will be given and the full course fee will be forfeited.

Offers

Any course price reduction offer for booking two places will only be valid if both places are subsequently paid for and delegates attend the actual course. If one is cancelled the other will be charged at full price and the offer will not apply. Any monies needed to bring it back up to original price being paid before the course is delivered.

General

The candidate will make Pennine Partnership aware, at the time of booking, of any learning difficulties or other issues which are relevant to attendance of the course. Requests for reasonable adjustments must be submitted to Pennine Partnership a minimum of two weeks before the date of the candidate’s examination.

All courses are delivered solely in the English language and candidates are advised to be sufficiently proficient with the English language both spoken and written before attending a course.

Course fees (unless stated otherwise) include the cost of tuition, all training materials, examination and certification fees.
